A Westchester Supreme Court jury awarded 1.4 million dollars to a 58 year old nurse who was rear-ended by a Yonkers Police Department police officer while he was on a routine patrol. The jury rejected the police officer's excuse that the accident was unavoidable because he was cut off by some phantom car. Our client suffered neck and back injuries resulting in a cervical fusion surgery four years after the accident.
